Wednesday Communication envelopes will be sent home each week with the youngest child in each family.  Please sign the envelope and return it to school each Thursday, so that you will continue to receive the information.  For any payments, please enclose them in an envelope marked with your child’s name, grade and reason for the payment.  If you need a separate Mom/Dad folder due to custody arrangements, please contact the School Office, and we will make that happen.  Remember that the school should have a copy of all custody paperwork on file.

Emergency cards:  If you did not do so at Open House on Monday, please fill out two complete emergency cards (front and back) for each child and return them to school tomorrow.  We need two sets of information completed so that we may have one card in the office and one card for the nurse.  We must have this information as soon as your child is in school, so that we may reach you if there is an emergency. 

Signs for Car Pick-up: Please use the blank sheet of colored paper in your packet to write your child’s last name in black marker using LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS, with the first name and classroom written at the bottom of the page.  Be sure to display these signs in your car windshield so that teachers can read the signs from a distance and keep the dismissal process moving quickly. 

If you are using the Before School Program (BSP) and/or After School Program (ASP), please be sure we have your registration form.  Please contact the business office for information or payment arrangements.

The September events calendars will be sent home next week.  We are still in the process of finalizing our dates.

Especially for new students, we should have received a copy of the child’s complete immunization record and record of his/her physical (since September 2009).  If these documents have not yet been sent, please send them to Mrs. Lavallee this week.  If you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Lavallee at extension 13.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser information will be sent home next week.  This fundraiser is an optional way to assist you in meeting your family Fair Share obligation.  More information on Fair Share will be provided in the Parent/Student Handbook.
